Puthan Panam, the Mammootty starrer action thriller hit the theatres on April 12th, Wednesday. The movie, which is written and directed by the senior writer-director Ranjith, has been receiving mixed reviews from both the audiences and critics.
Megastar Mammootty’s recent release film Puthan Panam hit the theatres on the 12th of April. The film opened to mixed response from the audience. Now as there are some severe debate running around the first day collection of the recent Malayalam films the same is happening with Puthanpadam, but now a trusted report has been come out. Popular National Daily Times Of India has stated the first day collection as Rs 2.4 Crores and it can be believed that this is the true collection of the film on First Day.
Directed by Ranjith and jointly produced by Ranjith, Abraham Mathew, and Arun Narayanan, under their home banner Three Colour Cinema, Puthan Panam revolves around the story of black money in the backdrop of current financial scenario in India. The film also marks the acting debut of Master Suraj. Puthan Panam also stars Renji Panicker, Mamukoya, Siddique, Saikumar, Hareesh Kanaran, Abu Salim, Iniya , Sheelu Abraham and Jennifer Antony.
Mamookka will be seen donning the role of Nithyananda Shenoy, a middle-aged man who hails from Kumbala, Kasargode district from Kerala. The superstar’s Kasargode dialect from the film was an instant hit upon its trailer release.
Meanwhile, Mammootty’s The Great Father is continuing its fabulous run at the Kerala Box Office. The film, which had released on 30 March 2017 has already emerged as a blockbuster at the Box Office.
