Last year for the session of 2015-16, a total number of 14, 91,293 students had appeared for the examination and out of the total number 1, 68,541 secured a 10 CGPA.

While the overall pass percentage was 96.21 percent, it is expected to rise this year as 557 more schools have come under the affiliation of the Central Board of Secondary Education in 2016.

Girls had outshined boys in their performance and secured a 96.36 percent while boys were not far behind with 96.11 percent. Experts believe pass percentage would rise harder this time as competition is on the rise and everyone wants to put it in his or her best.

CBSE 10th Result Delayed – Expected Dates

Next expected date for CBSE 10th Class Results announcement is 25th May 2017. CBSE Result for 12th Class students is going to be declared on 25th May 2017. This is first time in the last 20 years when CBSE has to delay the exam results due to the assembly elections.

The CBSE 10th Results would be declared between the months of May and June and only then would Class 12 admission procedures formally commence.
